This is a beautiful pure kora silk banarasi saree with hand-painted Kalamkari designs and chikankari embroidery work.

The saree features magnificent hand-painted kalamkari floral leafy vines flowing throughout the border of the saree, the pallu has enchanting mayur motifs that are a treat for the eyes. The body is glowing with spray painting and the borders have amazing chikankari work that creates obsession. The borders are laced with highlighting crochet coin lace. This comes with a pure crepe silk handpainted blouse piece with crochet lace.

Kalamkari is a hand-painted or block-printed cotton textile produced in Isfahan, Iran, and in the Indian state of Andra Pradesh. Only natural dyes are used in Kalamkari, which involves twenty-three steps. Kalamkari specifically depicts epics such as the Ramayana or Mahabharata. In recent times, many aesthetically good figures such as musical instruments, small animals, flowers, Buddha, and a few Hindu symbols are also been introduced to Kalamkari.
