Khandua is a tale of traditional "bandha" produced from Odisha. The design process is called "poetry of the loom". This saree design portrays auspicious elephants, deer, petaled flowers, a unique Orissan animal called Nabagunjara, a doula Kumbha. The borders and the pallu have tremendous variety and each one of them is attractive and praiseworthy. The inspiration of all its designs comes from nature.
